In 1911 he lived at the farm with his wife (possible 2nd) and his five children has anyone any information about this family please?
We had four cousins visit the museum the other day all had the same grandfather Thomas Bevan born in 1860 he was a farmer at Manor Farm Newton and may have breed horses for the army during WW1

Thomas Bevan was my Great Great Grandfather and his daughter Dorothy was my Great Grandmother. I have some info, please feel free to contact me.

Hi I'm related to Thomas bevan. Could you let me know any more details please my uncle was born in Glenfield Cottages formally a pub. In 1939 census my uncle who was born in 1938 was with Thomas bevan there.

Hi Debbie, are you sure it’s the same Thomas Bevan? My G G Grandfather lived in Victoria Avenue at the time of his death in 1944. Who was your uncle? I’ve never heard of Glenfield Cottages. 1/27/2020 07:58:45 am

Hi Andrea, Just got your message, thank you. I guess that makes us cousins of some sort?! Dorothy died in July 1965, two months before I was born and is buried in Newton churchyard along with her husband, Henry Idris Williams who sadly drowned in 1933 rescuing two girls in the bay at Porthcawl.
